Bree hates her life. She hates her never there parents, she hates her writing rejections, and she hates herself. So when her English teacher tells her that she needs to have a more interesting life, The Manifesto on How To Be Interesting is born.
But will giving herself a makeover and befriending cool people make it better? How far is Bree willing to go to be interesting?
I have read SO many good books lately...this one included. I fact, this is one of the best books I have ever read. Can I introduce you to my new favourite book?
Look! Even my cat liked it! |
It was so amazingly written, and had such an incredible plot, that it's managed to sneak up to my top 3 stand alone books. Because Holly has worked with kids with mental health issues online, she understands what it's like, and that makes her writing very realistic.
This is my new go-to book recommendation for anyone aged 13 up. It does have some more mature themes in it, so it's definitely not for younger kids.
