Twins Jude and Noah were closer than two siblings ever were... until something devastating pulls them apart. With both of them dreaming of boys they think they can't have, and both of them dealing with their grief in different ways, they don't have time to think that maybe there's two sides to every story? And if they ask for the other's side, will that fill in all the gaps?
Welcome, book, to Gemma's list of favourite books! I loved this book from beginning to end, and though it was a decent length for a book, I wish that it could've been longer. It was incredible. The characters were gorgeous, and likeable, and the kind of realistic that makes you believe that they're not just characters in a book.
Something else that I liked about this book, is that the twins share my birthday! (21st November.) I thought that was pretty cool.
Jandy Nelson is one of my favourite contemporary authors (as of last week) because her books are relateable, and beautifully written. I can't wait until she brings out a third book!
Because I am a book worm through and through, and because I absolutely love book covers, I cannot get through a book review, without mentioning the covers. And this cover is GORGEOUS. It's so simple, and such a nice colour, and the fonts used, just aaah! It's so pretty.
I highly highly recommend that you go out of your way, and do whatever it takes to find this book, and read it. I promise that you won't regret it.
