Paper Towns Movie with Jamie McDell

Today was so exciting! I entered a competition to win two tickets to go see a preview screening of Paper Towns with Jamie McDell, and won! (Jamie is a New Zealand singer (and my favourite singer) and a fellow John  Green fan. Check out her music here.) So my friend, Sophie, and I went to the Cinema, along with several other teenage girls. The cinema room we were in was called the LUX lounge, and was just as fancy as it sounds. There were very minimal seats in  it, but the few seats that were there were big, comfy, and had buttons on the arm rest that controlled the back of the seat and the foot rest!

On our seats were goodie bags, which contained a copy of the book, a bar of Whittaker's Chocolate, and a bottle of water, held in a fancy brown paper bag. Also, I happened to be sitting across the aisle from Jamie McDell. How cool?

The movie was absolutely phenomenal. Despite a few minor changes, it was very true to the book. There was one part in the movie especially, that all you John Green fans will freak out at; I know I nearly screamed at that part! (#imafangirlidontdocalm.)

After the movie, we went into the foyer and Jamie sung us the sing she write inspired by the movie called "Paper Girl." I loved it! We then got pictures with Jamie and got things signed, and the premiere was over. It was an awesome experience, and I hope to do something like it again!
