Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell

Title: Fangirl
Author: Rainbow Rowell
Publisher: Macmillan
Pages: 459
Source: Bought from Whitcoulls

Cath, like the entire world, is obsessed with Simon Snow. She owns tons of Simon merchandise: posters, t-shirts, all the books, and her own fan fictions based in the world of Simon Snow. She's obsessed with her latest and most popular fanfic, Carry On, and needs to complete it by the time the eighth and final book in the series is released. But she can't, however much she'd want to, spend all her time writing fic. She has University, classes, her twin sister, Wren, Levi, her roomate, Reagan.

'A tale of fan fiction, family, and first love.'

Ever since I took Fangirl out of my school library a couple of months ago, I've been able to answer the impossible question most bookworms have trouble answering; what's your favourite book? I love Fangirl, and I love Rainbow Rowell's writing style. It's a very relatable book (aren't we all fangirls?) and it's an absolutely gorgeous story.

This is the first book I recommend to people when they ask me for suggestions, and I'm so excited for Carry On, that comes out later this year! If you manage to get your hands on a copy, read it...you won't regret it!
