Childhood Favourites

My top 5 Childhood Favourite books, in no particular order.

1. Rainbow Magic Series

Do you guys remember these books? The ones with the fairies? I absolutely adored them. My favourite was definitely Gemma the Gymnastics Fairy, for obvious reasons. I think these were some of my first chapter books. To be honest I still can't believe that they're still making them...

2. Lettice the Rabbit

A series about a rabbit who did very un-rabbity things such as dancing, and flying a plane, stole my heart when I was younger. I loved the dancing one especially. I don't really have much to say about these books! They're cute, and the pictures are adorable, and I'd recommend them to any little girl!

3. Anne of Green Gables

I discovered this book when I was ten, and it was my first classic. I loved Anne and all the crazy things she'd get up to, and her imagination was vivid, like mine. I still recommend this to everyone! A memory I have of this book, is that two other friends were reading it at the same time as me

4. Jacqueline Wilson

When I was around 6/7 ish, I fell in love with Jacky Wilson. I own over 20 of her books, and still
enjoy reading them. Some of my favourites when I was younger, were Vicky Angel, Double Act, Secrets, Cookie, and Hetty Feather. She's a really talented author.

5. Geronimo Stilton

I was about 7 at the time Geronimo Stilton became really popular. I loved them, and they were nice easy reads as well (even for a 7 year old!) All of my friends loved the Geronimo Stilton series as well. I started going off them a couple of years later, and haven't really read them since. I might introduce my younger brother to them...

What are your childhood favourite books? Is it one of these? Comment below!
